FOOD PRINTER
Our food printers can print directly on items like cake plates and cookies. We offer serial-type printers for high-quality photo printing in small batches and line-type printers for large-scale confectionery production. You can choose from our catalog or request customizations to fit your specific needs.
Serial-type printers with 7-color ink for high-quality photo printing
The serial-type printer, which has a structure similar to conventional inkjet printers, uses edible inks with natural colorants for full-color printing in YMCB, and artificial colorants for more detailed color expression with all 7 colors. It allows for high-resolution, photo-quality printing directly onto chocolate plates for cakes and cookies. This type of printer is popular in pastry shops for creating 'photo cakes' and 'illustration cakes,' making it a beloved choice for birthday and celebration cakes.
Line-type printers that contribute to character products
Line-type printers operate by printing as food items move under a stationary head. Installed in production lines at candy factories, these printers can print on cookies, crackers, and other items moving quickly on a conveyor belt. Recently, numerous collaborations between candy manufacturers and anime characters have emerged, and our printers support these products. We also develop custom fixtures to enhance printing accuracy, addressing various customer needs.
Specialized Printer
We manufacture eco-friendly printers and specialty inks, primarily using water-based formulations. We offer inks that are free of harmful volatile substances and those capable of delicate expressions unique to water-based formulations, tailored to your specific application needs.
A T-shirt printer that can also handle「Settling Inks」
Our T-shirt printer was developed in response to the needs of startups wanting to print original illustrations or photos on individual T-shirts. With around 4,000 units sold, primarily in Europe, North America, and Oceania, it has become one of our flagship products, second only to our food printers.
Conventional inkjet printers are designed to print on white paper. However, when printing on T-shirts, which may come in colors like red or black, white ink is necessary. The challenge is that the primary ingredient in white ink, titanium oxide, tends to settle, causing clogs and damaging the ink head within just a few days. To address this, we developed a circulation system within the ink bottle, preventing settling and solving the issue.
Resin printers that achieve reduced environmental impact
For industrial products, packaging, signs, displays, and banners—where strong adhesion between the printing material and surface is essential—organic solvent-based inks have traditionally been used. However, with the growing emphasis on sustainability, driven by initiatives like the SDGs, the printing industry is now under increasing pressure to reduce environmental impact.
In response, we developed a resin printer using water-based pigment ink, which is rapidly gaining popularity. In resin printers, resin is dissolved in water along with the pigment. During printing, heat is applied to dry the ink, allowing the resin to encapsulate the pigment and adhere it to the printing material. Over time, the adhesion strength increases, ensuring a durable finish.
Without the use of organic solvents, our resin printers are eco-friendly and safer for users. A key advantage is that freshly printed designs can be easily washed off with water and soap, allowing for quick corrections if needed.
Printer Development
As ink technology advances and customer needs diversify, the potential for printing-related business evolves. We collaborate with our clients to explore the expanding possibilities of inkjet printers, adapting to new inks and materials.
Trust us to handle all your hardware, firmware, and software requirements
Developing a printer requires expertise in hardware, firmware, and software. Our company handles all three in-house, enabling efficient and streamlined development.
We can test prints with specific inks on request
The ink industry is now developing a variety of innovative inks, such as those with hybrid water-solvent properties, conductive and metallic inks, and structural color inks that shift hue based on the viewing angle. Many of these inks have untapped potential, awaiting creative applications.
Our flatbed inkjet printers offer the advantage of being able to accommodate various inks due to their simple design. As long as the ink’s physical properties are compatible with our printers, it can be used for printing. Additionally, we can adjust and develop the ink, printer, and head in-house to meet specific requirements such as ink drying speed, sedimentation tendencies, and cleaning frequency. This allows us to provide tailored solutions for niche markets and emerging businesses looking to print with new inks.
